My name is Kai Gee and I am a student at Spelman College, digital designer, and artist based out of Atlanta, GA. My introduction to the visual arts took place early, where my talents were recognized by myself and my art teachers in grade school.

In 2014 as a high school freshman, I tapped into my entrepreneurial spirit. I launched my own e-commerce site where I designed, sourced, manufactured and sold iPhone cases. My reach became nationwide through social media marketing and influencer sponsorship.

As the time came to apply to college and really think about which direction I wanted to go career wise, I knew I wanted to implement my passion for visual arts, design, and brand development into my future goals. I started my college career at Pratt Institute majoring in Industrial Design. My freshman year at Pratt was an intensive foundation year providing me with my foundation in design concepts. Although my education at Pratt was incredible, I decided to carry it with me into my transition to Spelman College as an Art major.

With my foundation in visual arts and design I’ve translated that in marketing, graphic design and web design. Most recently, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to help start-ups generate exposure and growth as a Growth Marketing Intern for Stackfolio, and Web Designer for Koncept House and Powerhouse Perks. I’m excited to continue taking steps towards my professional and creative growth.
